RCCT Valentine's Ball

On the 15th of February 2025 the rotary Club of Cotswold Tyndale organised yet another Valentine’s Day ball after many years of running these successful events.

A willing team of volunteers led by Tina Moran spend hours setting up and dressing the fantastic premises of Swinhay, in preparation for the event on Saturday night, themed around Phantom of the Opera (and a big thanks goes to Terry McMurtry for allowing us to once again have our Ball there).

Tina spent most of Saturday completing the finishing touches to what turned out to be yet another triumph and those Cotswold Tyndale members that weren’t attending the ball itself volunteered to welcome people and sorted out the parking.

It was a real team effort that involved external caterers who put on a magnificent meal and during the evening not only was a mini auction held but a raffle as well with total proceeds having now been totalled up and raising a further £4,800 pounds for the rotary big space cancer appeal.

There are many other events being organised across the District by a growing number of clubs who are also working with other clubs and charitable organizations to raise funds for what is after all a very worthy cause.

As of the date of this article the Rotary District 1100 total for the Rotary Big Space Cancer Appeal has now reached £48,800 pounds.
